Amy Davis will finally get some air time this week on American Idol. While making the top 24 Amy has yet to be seen on the show except for a brief mention of her name as one of the American Idol 24 finalists. As a professional model Amy is sure to draw some attention after the top 12 girls show to be aired this week.

It will be interesting to see how much criticism American Idol will receive this year as they have stacked the final 24 with a number of professional musicians and singers including Amy Davis. This is straying from past years when the show actively encouraged unheard of walk on talent like this years Asia'h Epperson. It is believed that because the talent was so pitiful last year the show has moved in the direction of professionals in order to regain it's ratings. Time will tell if this was a good move on the part of American Idol.
Note: In a press conference yesterday Simon Cowell made no mention of this years stacked line up but did assure everybody that he would remain with the show for two more years. You can read his full interview on American Idol dot com.
